| A senior at Mary Carroll High School, Jason Lee Espinoza is the Silver Medallion 2004 Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards San Antonio Regional Winner in Community Service, sponsored by Dr Pepper. Jason?s impressive roster of awards he has received for his dedication to community service, including the Volunteer Service Star Award, and the 300+ Hours Volunteer Award, does not even begin to do justice to the depth of his commitment to helping others. He has spent over 350 hours at the local children?s hospital alone. He is the Community Service Liaison for the Spanish Honor Society, responsible for organizing volunteer activities for over 150 members, a volunteer for the Feast of Sharing, and Vice President of the Environmental Society. Jason is also a straight-A student, and has been recognized as an Academic Top 40 and an All-American Scholar for his achievement. Jason will attend Texas A&M University in the fall, and major in Mechanical Engineering. |
