Of Mexican descent, Stephanie Elizabeth Ybarra of Douglas, Arizona attends Douglas High School. With a perfect 4.0 GPA, Stephanie is an AP and Honors student, and is the recipient of the Arizona State University President’s Award and first place at the Physics Day Competition. She has also been named to the Principal’s Honor Roll and is a two-time recipient of the Principal’s Merit Award. As Varsity Basketball Captain, Stephanie’s vision helped to develop cohesiveness among the team, and she cites her focus as a key strength in her success. Undecided in her school choice, Stephanie has applied to Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, and Cochise Community College. She will major in Exercise Science and minor in Psychology.
