All-Ink.com is committed to helping students pursue their dream of a higher education by offering $5,000 in scholarships to qualified students who are enrolled or planning to participate in an accredited college or university program during Spring 2008 / Fall 2008 or Full-year 2008-2009 school year. Students who apply must be a United States citizen or permanent resident with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

This scholarship is open to high school seniors and college freshmen who plan to study architecture in an NAAB-accredited program. The scholarship was established in 1970 by a grant from the Ford Foundation to aid students who would not otherwise have an opportunity to enter a professional degree program. Twenty awards per year are made and may be renewed for two additional years, ideally maintaining 60 students in the program in any given year. Scholarship amounts range between $500 and $2,500 and are determined by evaluation of financial need information provided by the student and the school.

The American Chemical Society sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and students seeking a two-year degree in chemical technology. The programs are designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences and chemical technology.  The goal of these scholarship programs is to aid in building an awareness of the value and the rewards associated with careers in science and to assist students in acquiring the skills and credentials needed for success in these areas.  The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need to high school seniors planning a science preparatory program of study, and college students who are currently freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are committed to the study of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or other chemically related fields such as environmental science, materials science or toxicology and are interested in pursuing careers in one of these fields. Students interested in two-year chemical technology programs and careers in this field are also eligible. Students must have strong academic records and show an interest in and potential for careers in the chemical sciences. Students intending to pursue careers in medicine are not eligible for scholarship awards.

The AGI MPP program is the longest running minority program in the geosciences, dating back to 1972. More than 950 MPP scholars have received millions of dollars of scholarships over the past 34 years. AGI has been a leader in geoscience education for four decades. Through funding from the National Science Foundation and the corporate contributors of the AGI Foundation, AGI continues to produce innovative inquiry-based curriculum for K-12 earth science education. At the college level, we offer the AGI/NAGT Laboratory Manual in Physical Geology (fifth edition).

The purpose of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF) scholarship programs is to support the educational development of students pursuing an undergraduate degree in hospitality management. All eligible students must be enrolled in hospitality management programs. Sixty-four percent of applicants won scholarships last year totaling more than $430,000. This scholarship program provides awards of up to $5,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. These awards are funded by the AICPA Foundation from monies contributed by the AICPA, its members, public accounting firms, and others. The program has been in existence for more than 20 years and has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships.

Candidates should have a high overall grade point average (GPA) and a high GPA in prerequisite course work (in 1993, the majority of applicants to PT programs reported GPAs of 3.0 or higher out of a 4.0 score). Admission officers also look favorably on an applicant's volunteer experience as a physical therapy aide, letters of recommendation from physical therapists or science teachers, and excellent writing and interpersonal skills. The physical therapist education program is a full-time commitment.

 The Minority Fellows Program has designated more than 300 fellows and contributed to the successful completion of doctoral political science programs for over 70 individuals.  The APSA Minority Fellows Program designates six stipend minority fellows, and additional applicants who do not receive funds from the Association are recognized and recommended for admission and financial support to every graduate political science program in the country.  Fellows with stipends receive a $4000 fellowship that is disbursed in two $2000 payments at the end of each academic year provided that the student is in good academic standing.

Los Diablos is an Arizona State University Alumni Association affiliate that was founded in 1984.  Los Diablos is composed of Chicano/Latino alumni who, in partnership with ASU, the corporate sector, community organizations, and dedicated individuals are united in their commitment to the educational and economic development of the Chicano/Latino community.  The philosophy is encouraged of all Los Diablos applicants and recipients.  Los Diablos’ primary goal is to provide financial assistance and support to outstanding Arizona Chicano/Latino students to attend and graduate from ASU.  To date, more than 1,800 scholarships have been awarded with a total value of more than $2.6 million.  Each Los Diablos scholarship is worth one year’s tuition.  In 2002-2003 each tuition scholarship was worth $2,508.

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS), funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was established in 1999 to provide outstanding African American, American Indian/Alaska Natives, Asian Pacific Islander Americans*, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education, in all discipline areas and a graduate education for those students pursuing studies in mathematics, science, engineering, education, or library science. The Boettcher Scholarship is the most prestigious merit-based scholarship available to graduating high school seniors in the state of Colorado.  Conceived by Charles and Claude Boettcher and established in 1952, the Boettcher Scholarship seeks to recognize and develop outstanding high school seniors who have the potential to make a useful contribution to the people of Colorado.  While Boettcher Scholars come from all over the state, represent diverse backgrounds and possess an incredible array of talents, they share two overriding characteristics: an intense intellectual curiosity and passion for community involvement.  In its 49 years of existence, the Boettcher Scholarship Program has provided nearly $35.2 million for undergraduate scholarships.

Each year, a minimum of ten students will be designated Ron Brown Scholars and will receive $10,000 annually for four years, for a total of $40,000. The recipients may use the renewable merit-based scholarships to attend the college or university of their choice. Ron Brown Scholarships are not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue any academic discipline. More than 200 students have been designated as Ron Brown Scholars since the inception of the Program.

A non-profit organization founded in 1945, The Christophers use mass media to encourage all individuals to recognize their unique abilities and use them to raise the standards of public life. Positive, constructive action is essential as expressed in The Christophers’ motto: “It’s better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.”  All entries will be judged by a panel selected by The Christophers. A Blue Ribbon Jury comprised of representatives from the media, academia and The Christophers’ Board of Directors will make the final selection. Judges’ decisions are final. The College Board offers the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP), a program for students who qualify based on their outstanding score on the PSAT/NMSQT in their junior year of high school and self-identify themselves as Hispanic (one parent must be 100% Hispanic and students of Brazilian and Portuguese background are not eligible). Students are selected and there is no application for the program. The names and addresses of the qualifying students are provided to admissions offices at colleges and universities throughout the country in order to encourage the institutions to recruit Hispanic students and provide financial assistance.
